The Platform APIs comprise Coinbase's many internal crypto services, built over more than a decade of experience.
The Platform SDK provides convenient access to these Platform APIs, letting you build crypto applications such as developer custodied wallets for sending and receiving crypto.
Coinbase will be continuously releasing updates to support a broad set of functionalities, such as trading, staking, and bridging.
Testnet Only
For now, consider this your sandbox. Our v0 Platform SDK is a pre-alpha build that comes with several limitations, so we recommend that you do not use this SDK in production. As we continue to work towards a v1 release, you can expect breaking changes.
This build is for testnet only. The keys in the Platform SDK are created in memory and on your server, so you are responsible for safely securing your private keys. Do not hold real funds on the SDK. Our goal for the pre-alpha release is to gather developer feedback.
Our v0 Platform SDK only supports sending and receiving on the Base Sepolia Network.
